Fundraising
GYWSO Fundraising Programme 2015-2016
Fundraising is a requirement of all athletes to financially contribute
to three annual events. The first being land training and the second, the end
of year gala and the third being the presentation evening. The approximate costs of these are outlined
below:-

Therefore opportunities for fundraising will be provided
and these are below. The postal swim contributes solely to reducing the cost of the pool hire and is not considered a fundraising contribution. This means that averagely on each fundraising
event an amount of £220 needs to be raised.
There is an option for those who do not wish to fundraise to donate £10 per block (6 per year) to cover their contribution. All athletes are expected to raise a minimum of £15 in sponsorship for the postal swim.
